A group of 3rd year Visual Arts and Technologies students from the Lisbon School of Education (ESELx) have developed various communication materials to be used by U!REKA European University and the 6 partners that are part of the alliance.
As part of their professional internship at DesignLAB4U, and under the guidance of professor Cátia Rijo, students Ana Rita Garcia, Margarida Vivas Martins, Ricardo Salgueiro, Luís Russo and Inês Carballo were challenged to design U!REKA's graphic identity for different media: posters, stickers, presentation templates, social networks, and other more.
The Polytechnic University of Lisbon is coordinating the communication of the U!REKA European University and has developed its graphic identity. As there was a need to create a set of communication materials, a group of students was challenged to take part, with the aim of bringing them closer to this Europe-wide initiative, enabling them to understand the dynamics of working with real clients, as well as allowing them to see their work shared across a network of 6 partners in 6 different countries, reaching over 123,000 students and 11,000 teachers and staff.
